What is a K9 Tune-Up Group Class?

Classes will bring owners and trainers from our community together as they will be co-hosted by The Kinetic K9: Dog Training & Rehabilitation and Paw It Forward Dog Training, LLC. Please be respectful of everyone’s training journey and training styles. We’re all here to help our dogs get better!

Classes will be focused on improving training in the following areas:
Class Rules
All attendees agree to abide by the following rules in order to attend and participate in group classes.
- Your dog must be on a 4-6 ft leash with a secure collar (IE: Prong collar, slip lead, martingale, head lead)
- No harnesses or flexi leashes
- Double-check equipment and make sure you're secure (If you are unsure, ask a trainer to look)
- Leave at least a 6ft between yourself and the next person/dog
- No on leash greetings
- Do not unleash your dog at any point even if they are friendly
- You must maintain complete control of your dog (Even when exiting the car)
- No Judgement Allowed. Everyone is in a different stage of their journey.
- Clean up after your dog
- For safety, wear closed-toe shoes

As your dog’s coach, Dana sees it as her job to empower them to make good decisions. A dog that can make good choices on their own is a well-behaved dog that not only is a joy and pleasure to share life with but also is a dog that can be trusted to handle freedom responsibly.

Common Questions
No, this class is only for current or past K9 Coach Clients
All dog’s must arrive on leash and remain on leash unless otherwise instructed. Bring whatever tools you’re currently using to train your dog and a place cot if you have one!
Yes, the cost of the class is $35 and can be paid using the registration button here or in-person prior to class start.
Dogs of any and all training levels are welcome! We will do our best to modify activities to suit your dog’s training abilities or you can elect at any time to sit out during activities you feel are too challenging for your dog and work on calmness and neutrality.
K9 Coach Dana will end the class after 60 minutes and leave the training location but you are MORE than welcome to continue working with your dog once class has ended either alone or with other handlers who wish to do the same!
Any dog that has been trained with K9 Coach is welcome! If you would like to work more than one dog during class, please register twice, once for each dog.
Classes may be canceled at anytime by K9 Coach for any reason but most often it will be due to weather. If a class is every canceled, K9 Coach will honor your registration payment as a credit to apply to any future class. You will receive an email notifying you of your credit. All you need to do to use it, is reply to that email, to let K9 coach Dana you’re using your credit to attend an upcoming class.
